Paisley is a historic town it has many examples of stunning architecture including Paisley Abbey - a
magnificent Baptist Cathedral. It was founded in 1163 as a Monastery and is an excellent example of
Victorian architecture built in Renaissance style.

Paisley Town Hall is a popular entertainment and conference venue. It hosts a variety of concerts,
exhibitions and conferences.

Only a 15 minute drive from the Canal Station is Silverburn Shopping Centre. With almost 100 stores all
undercover it's a great way to spend the day

Scotland is the home of golf and there are many golf courses in the Paisley and Renfrewshire area
including Barshaw, Paisley and Ralston. Further afield can enjoy some excellent links golf on the
Ayrshire coast

Glasgow City Centre is only 6 miles from Paisley, there will be spoiled for choice. Enjoy your choice of
Art Galleries, Museums, architecture and theatre You can also spend a day shopping in the best selection
of shops in Scotland'

To enjoy some of Scotland's best scenery cross the Erskine Bridge to Balloch (home to our sister pub The Doghouse), the gateway to the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park.
